Salty Dawg Saloon

The bartender was from a little town known as Houston, Texas.

Day 7: to Homer, AK

Soldotna to Homer. 75 miles.

Unbelievable.

One of the few times where the destination was better than the journey. I won't ruin this by trying to describe it. You have to see Homer at least once--via motorcycle is a plus.

It was 4,418 miles from San Antonio and took six and half days--worth every mile.

Overcast all day, misting rain off and on, low 47/high 54.

The scenic overlook coming into homer. There were two groups in the parking lot when we pulled in, one from ft worth and the other from arlington.
