Day 1: San Antonio to Ft. Collins, CO

Got to see sunrise in Junction and sunset in Denver. A great day. Ended up in Ft Collins.  Rain and a fear of sold out hotels in cheyenne  stopped me short.

 It was borderline cold in Denver.  And yes, 68 feels cold after a balmy mid-August drive thru the TX and OK panhandles.

New plan is to meet DB and Whit  in thompson falls, mt tomorrow night. looks like mostly interstate so probably few pics..

Stats for the day: 16 hrs, 975 miles, high temp 105 in OK, low 68 CO. I'll update with pictures later.
