Day 6 Tok, Ak to Soldotna, Ak

Best ride of the trip, the 475 miles from Tok to soldotna. The section from just south of anchorage to soldotna is the best road I've ever been on. Around the Cook Inlet, glacier topped mountains come straight down into the ocean for 100 miles.
The temperature today ranged from 47 to 60, with rain, fog, sun, and sleet at one point or another. (the heated vest may be the greatest invention of my lifetime.)

There was a much debated grizzly or moose sighting north of soldotna, which may or may not have lead to this exchange: "a grizzly??! Well, you're a goofy m***** *****!"
(These dinners are becoming more and more uncomfortable.) We're going with a grizzly.

We had a 20 minute detour at the anchorage Honda dealership as db tried to trade his brand new gs in on a new gold wing. "no deal!"

Tomorrow to homer, maybe for the entire day to rest and re-group for the return.
